Finally….after years….it’s His turn.
Expecting a hot summer I made him shorts. It has been rather gloomy so far, but he seems to love them anyway.
It’s a super simple design, black linen with black thread. I took liberty to punch things up in a couple of the details. Who doesn’t love an awesome pocket lining.
This blue zipper pops against the black!
That’s as wild as I’m allowed to get with his clothes…
Standard back pocket.
He loves these shorts; they’re nice for relaxing in after work. He’s asked for another pair.
At one point I did have to stitch pick and re-ensemble the entire waist band for a better fit, but it was worth it since the whole point of sewing is to have well fitting clothes.
I used pattern Kwik Sew 4045.
