A Dress For Wandering In

I wandered into this fabric at the thrift store, and it stared at me from my drawer for far too long. What was I thinking when I bought this? What would it turn into?

Well I’m glad I followed through by turning this material into a dress. It’s fun and silly, perfect for late evening wanderings through the city.

I actually finished this dress moments before going on a date with my husband. As Grandma walked through the door, my dress flew off the sewing machine and over my head. It’s a whimsical dress I think.

Do we really need to hem everything that passes us by in this world?

I think not!!

My son calls it “Balloons”

Thanks for peeking in, until next time…
